Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for personal transformation. Classes focus on using a set of physical postures and controlled breathing to open energy channels in the body and mind, especially the spine, so healthy functioning is enhanced. Practicing hatha yoga aims to create a balance and unity in mind and body. Mindfulness, strength, flexibility, balance and endurance are all improved. In these classes, you will learn to balance your effort and yield to each posture throughout the practice. Please bring a mat or towel to lie on.
