PLEASE NOTE: This is a 4-week course. Sessions each Thursday morning.
Here’s a brand new course exploring how we can know our minds and develop qualities of self-compassion, presence and equanimity through art-making, meditation and mindfulness.
The first week will take you through meditation, mindfulness practice and silence to learn how to connect with your art-making in a way that is free of judgement and expectation. Week 2 focuses on developing self-compassion through mindfulness meditation and art as you learn to receive your own creations with love and respect. Session 3 will look at how emotions like pride, jealousy, guilt, shame, anxiety and anger affect our ability to be present in our lives and the final session brings together the previous 3 sessions to work with creating a mind ‘that is vast like space’ and is aware of its reactivity to a vast range of situations we face as human beings.
FEE: $120. PLEASE BOOK with a deposit of $20.
