Gavin Blakey is the first Australian to become International President of Toastmasters – an organisation dedicated to excellence in communication and leadership development. Gavin has delivered presentations to a broad range of audiences in 21 countries. He has a wealth of experience, techniques and hints to offer. Participants on his courses apply their skills in businesses, organisations, community groups and social occasions.
Gavin has also worked overseas with Engineers Without Borders helping to connect, educate and empower people through humanitarian engineering. Humanitarian engineering uses a people centred, strength based approach to improve community health, wellbeing and opportunity.
